A quality assurance associate ensures that final products meet quality standards by monitoring and inspecting operating procedures, test methods, and product specifications. If a process deviates from its validated state, the quality assurance associate will collaborate with others on product disposition and corrective actions.

Quality assurance associates need to be meticulous and organized to ensure quality products and regulatory compliance.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Inspect and review quality control tests for incoming materials and outgoing products
  • Investigate any reports or complaints and take corrective actions
  • Review and report process and product data
  • Control procedures and batch records
